The NeoWare product family

NeoZip is our flagship product — Desktop for teams, MCP and CLI for AI agents, open-source libraries for developers, and the Token Service for optional on-chain proof. All built on familiar ZIP packaging with a local Data Wallet at the center.

NeoZip

NeoZip — Blockchain-secured Zip files

Open source · MIT-licensed libraries

NeoZip extends the ZIP format developers have trusted for decades with wallet-encrypted identity keys, Zstandard compression, and optional blockchain verification — so data can be packaged, verified, and tracked with mathematical certainty.

NeoZip applications

End-user and agent-facing tools that share the same archive semantics and Data Wallet connection store.

Available now · Beta v0.8.0-beta.2

NeoZip Desktop

A Mac app for everyday archives: bundle files into ZIP or NeoZip, open what you receive, and verify nothing has changed. The device-held Data Wallet keeps identity keys on your Mac — not in a cloud vault — so you can sign archives before sharing or AI ingestion. On-chain features run on Base Sepolia testnet during beta.

  • Create and open ZIP or NeoZip archives
  • Data Wallet for local signing and key control
  • Integrity checks and shareable verification records

Beta · v0.95.1

NeoZip MCP

A local MCP server that gives AI assistants native archive tools — compress, inspect, encrypt, and notarize ZIP and NeoZip files without fragile scripts or full extracts that blow the context window. Shares the same Data Wallet connection store as Desktop and CLI.

  • MCP tools tuned for LLM context and pagination
  • Path sandboxing and capability scoping
  • Optional Token Service timestamps and NFT proof

NeoZip CLI

Command-line tools for automation, CI/CD, and autonomous agents — with machine-readable JSON I/O, schema introspection, dry-run, and six bundled Agent Skills. Wire Token Service and Data Wallet setup through neozip connect.

  • neozip, neounzip, and neolist binaries
  • Zstandard compression and AES-256 encryption
  • Bundled Skills for Cursor and Claude Code

NeoZip Token Service

Hosted service for email-verified identity, on-chain timestamps, and NFT tokenization — without running blockchain infrastructure yourself.

Available now · Beta on Base Sepolia

Timestamps, NFT proof, and testnet gas grants

The NeoZip Token Service provides email-verified accounts, Ethereum timestamps, silent wallet-signature token refresh, and optional NFT minting on supported EVM networks. Desktop, MCP, and CLI connect through the shared Data Wallet at ~/.neozip/connection/. During beta, on-chain features use Base Sepolia testnet — no real ETH or gas fees required.

Open-source libraries

MIT-licensed npm packages for the open-source market. Use them in your own applications to create, encrypt, and verify archives — and connect blockchain features when you need them.

neozipkit

Latest release v0.6.0

Create and manipulate ZIP archives in browser and Node.js. Deflate, ZStandard, and stored compression; WinZip-compatible AES-256 encryption; CRC-32 and SHA-256 verification with Merkle tree support; full TypeScript definitions.

neozip-blockchain

Latest release v0.6.0

Blockchain companion for full NZIP workflows — Token Service timestamping, NFT minting, token verification, and wallet integration. Supports Base Mainnet, Base Sepolia, and optional OpenTimestamps add-on.

For full NZIP workflows: npm install neozipkit neozip-blockchain

Core capabilities

Shared across Desktop, MCP, CLI, and the open-source libraries.

Local Data Wallet

A device-held cryptographic vault for signing archives and managing keys locally — shared across Desktop, MCP, and CLI via ~/.neozip/connection/.

Zstandard compression

Modern compression for smaller archives and faster workflows, with Deflate and store modes when compatibility matters.

AES-256 encryption

Authenticated encryption with GCM mode, plus legacy PKZIP support for archives that need broader tool compatibility.

Blockchain timestamping

Anchor archive digests on-chain through the NeoZip Token Service, with SHA-256 hashing and Merkle aggregation for efficient proof.

NFT tokenization

Optionally mint archives as NFTs on supported EVM networks to bind on-chain ownership and chain-of-custody to the underlying files.

Open and extensible

Integrate NeoZip into your stack, ship vertical solutions on top of the libraries, or extend the platform with us. NeoWare maintains the foundation; developers and partners shape what gets built next.
